The only normal people are the ones you don't know very well. -- Joe Ancis

The Daily ‘Shroom – 8/15/07

  1. The Official TMNT Web Site has added some previews for Tales of the TMNT #37, which should be out now, and Raphael: Bad Moon Rising #2, which is still hung up at the printers.
  2. Not much TransFormers news happening today. “Recon” Barricade and the Star Wars Galactic Showdown figures have been released, and there are apparently some differences between Takara’s new Encore reissues and the original toys that might interest some people.
  3. And the latest from Smash Bros. Dojo is… stickers?

Nothing against these, but they’re no replacement for trophies, and I certainly hope that they won’t try to make them as such.

  4. Captain America is coming back, but not in a way that you might think. Or, as things are with comic books, maybe exactly the way you’d think.

At any rate, Newsarama chats with Alex Ross to get the full scoop.

  5. I haven’t really said much on Beautiful Katamari lately, and really, I’m not sure why.

But, I aim to make up for it with the news that the demo is now available on XBox Live!

And you can see a video of it right here.

  6. As more news comes to light, I remain skeptical about the upcoming GI Joe movie.

Could they not have just retitled it Action Force like they did before?

  7. I’m a sucker for Garfield, I admit it. He and I go waaaaaaay back, and even if his best days are behind him, I still like him.

On top of that, I like what I see of the screens for his new DS game, Garfield’s Nightmare.

  8. Hey, Postal III! The sequel to a sequel to a game that no one wanted made in the first place!

…actually, that statement has absolutely no basis, I just really don’t care that much. Just remember that it’s not a violent game, you’re just a violent person. Which is what I guess they’re trying to say.
