The Daily ‘Shroom – 8/25/09
Aaaaaand, look who’s back! SummerFestSlam was a blast, and the upcoming WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2010 looks to be incredibly awesome. I’ll be writing about that for Kombo soon, and will link to it from here once that’s done. Of course, it will have to be done around my regular news chores; I figure I’ll have it done this weekend, if not before (I hope).
And now, the news:
- Design Travis Touchdown’s T-Shirt for No More Heroes 2 – Pretty much just what the title says. Anyone here got the chops to make it happen?
- Rumor: Sony Looking to Bring 250 GB PS3 Slim Bundle with GT5 Home for the Holidays? – If so, then they’re really taking no prisoners this year.
- Niitsuma Talks Tatsunoko vs. Capcom News – The American Tatsunoko vs. Capcom loses one Tatsunoko character, and gains four new characters, two for each side. Advantage: Capcom. The online component should be improved as well.
- Rumor: Best Buy Doesn’t Want Your Old PS3, Will Give You a Game If You Keep It – If you jumped the gun on getting a PlayStation 3 just before the announcement of the price drop and happened to get it at Best Buy, there may be good news for you.
- New PS3 Logo Brings PlayStation “Back to its Roots” – Sony tells why they changed the logo they’ve used since 2006.
- Microsoft Unfazed by Reported 360 Failure Rate – Microsoft’s motto: “What, me worry?” And why should they, as long as people keep buying systems, games, and replacement systems so their games don’t go to waste?
