Since we cannot know all that there is to be known about anything, we ought to know a little about everything. -- Blaise Pascal

Points of Interest – 8/18/07

  1. Somebody has to change.

    But, is change always good?

  2. Booster Gold now has his own series from DC Comics, and Newsarama was able to (somehow) catch up with him to find out more. Here’s what he had to say.
  3. GameTrailers continues their five-part Metroid Retrospective with its penultimate installment, looking at the series’ two DS titles, as well as an overview of what we know of Metroid Prime 3.

Next week will be fun, as they examine the overall Metroid storyline in greater detail, including the remake of the original title, Metroid: Zero Mission.

  4. IGN has scored an exclusive interview with Seth Green, creator, writer, and star of Adult Swim’s Robot Chicken, who speaks with them about Family Guy, Buffy, and more.

…I have got to see that Saved By The Bell skit.

  5. But… is it art?
  6. Ok, so G4 doesn’t do the games thing as much, or as well any more. Of course, to some people, they never did it well to begin with, which just makes things a little worse.

Still, they have their moments, and this is one of them. Watch “Distended Warranty” rock out in death metal style in their soon-to-be-hit music video “Red Ring of Death.”

  7. Sometimes it’s just cool to own a replica of something famous. Be it a fiberglass Master Sword or an Autobot sticker on a VW Bug, having something people will recognize is always fun.

But the above surely pale in comparison to this real working Warthog from the Halo series, complete with armored Spartan manning the guns.

Only thing is, where can you drive it without causing a panic?

  8. And finally, Sharkey is at it again… stickin’ it to the worst video game covers of all time in the third edition of Hey Covers… You Suck!

Interestingly… Metroid Prime 3 is there.
