I don’t know if anyone here will care…. but I pulled this off of a popular Turtles fansite… makes me sad.
“his is in regard to ‘Fast Forward’ ..the now 5th season of TMNT not the lost ‘Ninja Tribunal’ episodes. Those are still in development to DVD but..
Right now no new episodes are in development (Season 6). The ratings for the show will have to improve for there to be another season after FF.
Playmates supports the show. Mirage and 4kids wanted to go ahead and keep on with production of the show. But with ratings slipping ..and profits not to Playmates liking, that and 4Kids/Mirage were not wanting to pay for the showby themselves ..this is where things are at right now.
Nothing is absolute. Keep in mind that ‘TMNT 4 movie’ is due next year and ‘TMNT-FF’ will still be on the air during this time. The movie’s success may green-light a new 6th season or even a brand-new Third show. Ya never know !! But again.. for now ..it looks like the 5th season is it for the current TMNT show.. !! Oii !! More as it develops !!
