The Examiner/MMN Revue for Wednesday, December 1st
“Gee, things have been quiet on this front lately. I wonder what’s going on?”
Okay, so I’m not actually imagining anyone has been saying that, but in any case, I’ve been putting a bunch of work into some stuff. Namely…
From the Canada Nintendo Examiner:
The Canada Nintendo Examiner’s holiday guide to Wii hardware
The Canada Nintendo Examiner’s holiday guide to Wii games, part 1
The Canada Nintendo Examiner’s holiday guide to Wii games, part 2
Yeah, this has taken up a good chunk of time lately. Next time, I’m starting my holiday guide in July.
In any case, this is a list of games I believe would make good or popular choices as gifts this holiday season. A few are token “this is too popular NOT to be on there” choices, rather than anything I care about (such as Call of Duty or Rock Band 3, for example). But for the most part, I believe in these choices.
And doing this, I believe anyone who says there is nothing on Wii has too much time and too much money. Go take up skydiving, or mountain climbing, or totem-pole carving. Maybe begin investing in first-print comic books.
As for a DS guide… well, that’s coming.
From the Toronto Video Game Examiner:
Eidos Montreal reveals Deus Ex: Human Revolution’s “Augmented Edition” – Eidos Montreal and Square Enix have put together some enticing bonus packages for those who are into the Deus Ex franchise. I’m looking forward to the game more than anything else they have shown here, but there is some neat stuff, nonetheless.
From The Mega Man Network:
Voting Begins for Bonne Mecha Contest – Actually, there’s a kink in the voting process. It’s like Florida all over again…
More Mega Man Legends 2 Avatars Available on PSN – And they’re all Data!
In Case You Were Wondering… – …what the latest from Keiji Inafune is.
Mega Man X Collection: Reloaded and Reprinted – Miss your chance the first time? Well, now you have the opportunity once again to get six Mega Man X games, plus Mega Man: Battle & Chase, in one complete package.
