The Examiner/MMN Revue for Friday, October 29th
Hey, guess who’s back?
From The Mega Man Network:
Legends 3 Developer Room is Gearing Up – Are you ready to pitch in and help make a dream into a reality?
Look Cool as Proto Man this Halloween – The littlest Mega Man returns, this year as the older number-one son.
Here is Your Mega Man Legends 3 Heroine – You know, I never got to vote in this. That said, I’m not dissatisfied with the outcome.
Keiji Quits – Perhaps the biggest news of the day: Keiji Inafune, the last big name at Capcom and one of the creators of Mega Man, has left the company. I’m still not sure what to say– it’s almost like hearing of Miyamoto leaving Nintendo (or at least, the closest thing Capcom could have to such a situation).
Mega Man Projects Still Carrying On – Fortunately, despite Inafune’s departure, it looks as though work will continue on the third Legends and other projects in development. Whew!
From the Toronto Video Game Examiner:
Toronto video game deals for the week of October 29th to November 4th, 2010
Two top executives step down from two top companies – Inafune isn’t the only high-ranking officer at a video game company to leave yesterday. Take-Two’s Chief Executive Officer, Ben Feder, has also announced that he is stepping down.
With Inafune’s interest in Western development, can you imagine what might happen if these two individuals came together to form their own company? Feder did say he planned to travel to Asia with his family after leaving…
From the Canada Nintendo Examiner:
Nintendo of America announces Super Mario All-Stars Limited Edition – All I can really think of to say is “Thank you, Nintendo!” I just hope I’m able to snag one of these while they last.
