The Daily ‘Shroom – 8/31/09
- Nintendo Alters Metroid Prime Trilogy Dialogue – While it kind of sucks that Nintendo would see fit to edit out such a minor curse word in a T-rated game, I’ll be honest: I don’t even remember him saying it. I guess it failed to leave a lasting impression on me.
Of course, if any Nintendo franchise should be allowed to say “damn,” it’s Metroid.
- GameCube Dresser Confirmed for U.S. Version of Animal Crossing: City Folk – Yay, more Nintendo furniture! And you can buy extras of this one, too. I wonder if they come in Spice, Jet Black, or Platinum? I’d rather have Indigo, though the thought of a different color in each room does hold a certain appeal…
- Sonic Adventure DX: Director’s Cut Registered Recently with Australian Classification Board – Hmm, could this be a remake of sorts? One can hope.
- $4k games console could be most expensive yet – Seriously? Have we learned nothing from 3DO, NeoGeo, and the PlayStation 3′s first years?
And the games don’t even sound great at all. Is this thing meant to sell to bars, or what?
- Four New Mario & Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story Trailers – And only two weeks away!
- Assassin’s Creed Producer to Head Ubisoft Toronto – Jade Raymond, in T.O.? Awesome.
- Sumo Digital Panel for Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing – Over the weekend, Sumo Digital had quite a bit to say about the upcoming SEGA racing title. Personally, I can’t wait to try it.
- Seth Killian on Whether or Not Super Smash Bros. Brawl is a Real Fighting Game – Seriously, what do you think?
- Nintendo Download – 8.31.09: Pirates, Puzzles, Rattlers, and Role-Playing – If you’re an RPG fan and don’t own an Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 to get Sonic’s Ultimate Genesis Collection on, then you’re in luck.
- Disney to Purchase Marvel Entertainment for $4 Billion – And last, but most certainly not least. If you’ve been under a rock all day, allow me to help you out.
