InFormers: Robots in the News
- Could the original Generation 1 Ironhide and Ratchet be getting new heads? That seems to be what Dengeki Hobby magazine in Japan is reporting.
Me, I’d love that. Those two were always favorites when I was a kid, Ironhide moreso. And the toys have always fascinated me. Never had them, but they’re just so… unique.
Still, what I’m REALLY hoping for is an appearance in Classics.

I’m skeptical. It just sounds too much like the Justice League series pilot to me, and doesn’t seem to differ too greatly from Timm’s work visually, either.
- The negotiations on the strike are said to be “going well,” could the writers soon return to work?
- Looks like Punisher: War Zone is due next September.

It’s sad. His cause underneath might be worthy, but his methods have proven far too deplorable to support. Which is too bad, because he did seem halfway decent at that Moral Combat debate.
- Hey, a Xbox 360 backwards compatibility update! I didn’t know they still made these!
- Yeah, I admit it. I wrote this about Greenpeace rating Nintendo a zero before I heard what sort of chumps they are.
Plus, N-Sider and ArsTechnica reveal that it’s less to do with Nintendo’s performance and more to do with a lack of online records of what they’re doing.
- Since the price drop, Sony’s sales have tripled in the US.

- Just a few moments of watching the new trailer for Space Invaders Extreme makes one thing VERY clear: this is NOT your father’s Space Invaders.
- Kotaku got to go “Hands-Off, Eyes-On” with Bionic Commando, and here’s what they thought.
Plus, some translation tales, which is botched by the simple fact that Super Joe was a seperate character, the Zero to Rad Spencer’s X, if you will.
