The Daily ‘Shroom – 6/2/07
- Coming this fall, some new Ninja Turtle figures.
Looks like we get a movie-esque Shredder figure here, some demons, and some weird design cues. Sai-chucks and machineguns on Raph? Weird.
- Not much for TransFormers today, just a new video preview of the game over at GameTrailers.
- Nintendo’s Virtual Console will reach its 100th title on Monday, and that title will be none other than the legendary Adventure of Link.
20 years late, Chris Kohler has his first impressions.
- You’d think Sony would learn.
If this goes anything like the Immersion suit, then they could be in BIG trouble…
- Uh-oh.
Guess who’s directing Spy Hunter?
Here’s a hint: Evil is his residence, and he likes his Kombat to be mortal.
On the bright side, he did direct the first Mortal Kombat and not the second, and it turned out to be pretty good, and was tied to Midway, so maybe there’s hope…?
- Speaking of Mortal Kombat, Armageddon is out for the Wii, and thankfully it seems to be doing ok.
And to coincide with the release, Midway has released a list of all the Fatalities.
- So, it seems that Gabe and Tycho over at Penny Arcade actually wanted Jack Thompson to appear at PAX, but the deal didn’t work out.
I have to admit, that would have been a sight to see. And really, PA’s stance on it would have been better for JT, as there would probably have been fewer pre-planned attempts on his life if it were a surprise.
Of course, that wouldn’t stop the rioting…
