The Daily ‘Shroom – 4/2/07
- Over at The Allspark, some new TransFormers tidbits have arisen. Naturally.
As regards the movie, herein lies some potential box art for the video game, and there are images of Kids Meal toys which will be coming to Burger King.
In addition, three new screenshots of the movie with with the TransFormers in robot mode can be seen over at Yahoo!.
Plus, IGN has new trailers for the movie, titled “Hidden” and “Destiny.”
On top of all that fun, the soft-toy-loving set can have fun of their own with Slumblebee and Softimus Prime, a pair of transforming pillows based on the G1 characters.
- Straight from Nintendo themselves, WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2008 on Wii and DS.
This could get Extreme.
GameDaily offers their own preview on the just-announced slobberknocker, and N-Philes provides footage of the Wii version.
- On Virtual Console, Nintendo has Star Fox 64, the NES Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and TG-16′s Dragon’s Curse ready to roll.
But wait… aren’t NES downloads supposed to be 500 points?
See what Jeremy Parish thinks on Retro Roundup.
I think Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is better than that.
- Soon to follow, Bonk will make his return to the Wii, and it seems he’s out for revenge.
- Looks like a verdict, and a potential new slogan, have arrived for the radio station who ran the contest for a Wii that claimed the life of one young mother due to overhydration…
In other words, KDND-FM is off the hook.
- Interesting thing a school in England is doing with PSPs…
Actually, this sort of echos an idea I had after I kept seeing ads for chiropractor appointments for students, except mine was to use a cheap, school-issued laptop.
- Evidently, the NYC brass thinks that Liberty City in the newest installment of the renowned Grand Theft Auto series hits a little too close to home.
- Even if Sony’s reluctant, it looks like EB Games/Gamestop are ready to drop the price of the PSP a bit.
Good news or bad? You be the judge.
- Wait… so Dreamcast wasn’t dead? Until now, anyway?
- GameDaily has pricing on the E for All event.
Wow, that looks pretty affordable…
- If you can find a Wii at Wal-Mart in Canada, it looks like they’re ready to give you a deal.
- FINALLY, a PS3 game I can get into: Ratchet & Clank!
- Japan has opened up its very own Nintendo Museum.
And I wanna go.
The mini-museum at Nintendo World was cool, but it kind of lacked in the pre-video game history department.
And, not to be outdone, 1up has taken their own tour.
